This episode is all about SHIFTING. How to we shift from the one extreme of "NO PAIN, NO GAIN" mindset of ignoring your emotional and physical needs - or the other extreme of being consumed with your emotional and physical ailments and heavily identifying with them? How do we find balance between the two? It's a process!

  • Acknowledge how you're feeling with regular check-ins with yourself, mentally, physically, and emotionally
  • Check-in regularly so that you don't wait until burn out, exhaustion, illness, or injury for your emotions to come out
  • Talk to your loved ones for support
  • Get guidance from healthcare professionals
  • Know that there is so much more to you than your experiences & what you're going through - Yes they are valid. Yes they make up who you are. Yes they have an impact on your daily life AND how can you engage with the world as your whole self without being consumed by what you've gone through!? This can be a time for you to hone in on your skills and abilities
